Rather than rolling back to the old driver (which in having trouble with finding), have you tried just uninstalling/removing realtek audio device in device manager? Perhaps a re install there will fix it?

I have the exactly same problem what do I do to fix it?

Choose to uninstall the audio device from device manager and ensure "delete old driver" is ticked
I then rebooted and and ran through this:
http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/servicetag/4QD0RF2/drivers
It got stuck in a loop of asking me to install the new driver but it seemed to work -
i removed completly realtek audio, reboot, download version from dell, install, reboot, now working great

The driver released recently by dell popped my speakers. So awaiting replacement speakers from Dell.
