    nvidia graphics drivers for alienware users

    guyz i have found this in nvidia forums. do you think he is right? shall i revert back to previous drivers? if ever i revert back to previous drivers will my geforce experience revert back to the previous verson as well or its ok if i use the latest geforce experience? i post this here on purpose instead of the Gaming (Software and Graphics Cards) because i wanted to ask alienware users. oh also if i revert back will it help my dota fps? been experiencing fps drop from 120fps and lowest to 70+ fps.. thanks :D

    These drivers don't fix the massive frame rate problem with older games that use 16-bit colours and Direct Draw (such as Swat 3) on Windows 7 64-bit. The frame rate issue makes the game unplayable.

    If I revert to earlier drivers the frame rate issues disappear:

    355.98 Sept 22, 2015 - bad frame rate
    355.82 August 31, 2015 - bad frame rate
    355.60 August 13, 2015 - bad frame rate
    353.62 July 29, 2015 - good frame rate
    353.30 June 22, 2015 - good frame rate
    353.06 May 31, 2015 - good frame rate
    352.86 May 18, 2015 - good frame rate
    350.12 April 13, 2015 - good frame rate
    347.88 March 17, 2015 - good frame rate
    347.52 February 10, 2015 - good frame rate
    347.25 January 22, 2015 - good frame rate
    347.09 - bad frame rate
    344.75 - bad frame rate
    344.48 - bad frame rate
    344.11 - good frame rate

    You can see an example of the frame rate problem by loading Swat 3, starting a multiplayer game, choosing a map, and then try moving your mouse on the OPERATIONS screen. Normally I get 60fps but with these drivers I get around 3-6 fps.

    I dont experience any problems regarding framerate with the newest drivers.

    changed driver to 353.62 July 29, 2015 and fixed my frame rate problem in dota 2... i guess new drivers for me sucks..

    Did you properly remove the old drivers before oyu installed the new one? DId you download them from the Nvidia site itself?

    on upgrading i used nvidia experience to download and use clean install.. maybe thats the cause? should i have used DDU and download driver from nvidia to upgrade?

    This same thing happened to me so I reverted from 355 drivers to 353 and it resolved my issues also.
