    no Optimus???

    hello, just got the 15r3 model with i7 7700 cpu and 1070 gpu. I cant use the Fn+F7 funcion. Says that I have Gsync panel but I have the FHD ips panel that is NOT gsync (as I know).

    It would appear that all of the panels on the 15R3 have G-sync.

    haha yeah there is a good side.....but I am not a hardcore gamer so better battery time is more welcome.

    Is this an international thing? I thought there were non Gsync models available... that being said, I bought one in a store in Australia which happened to have Gsync unexpectedly!

    All AW15s have G-Sync GPUs and panels. And because G-Sync needs the dGPU to be run all the time, Optimus should be non-existent. Why need Optimus, if it's going to do more harm than good? (30 minutes of more battery life, microstutters and fps drops during games)
