few questions is their space for a internal dvd/Blu-ray

is their a place to have a 2nd 3.5 hhd

does it still have the msata slot

    my r1 has a 256gb msata 750gb ssd and a 1tb sata

and I switched out the dvd/cd to a Blu-ray rewriter

would I be able to set up the AW R3 or R4 like I did the r1

anyone know the max gtx card the R1 can handle

you can put a 2.5" HDD on your aw 17 R1

    the AW 17 R3 have 2 m.2 pcie slots + 1 HDD 2,5" slot
    the AW 17 R4 have 2 m.2 pcie slots + 1 msata SSD slot + 1 2.5" HDD slot
the max gpu for your model is a gtx 980m 8gb

    I don't think R4 has a mSATA, from what I have read the small one is a 2242 M.2.

Why disk media? Get an external Blu-ray burner, and a good software. Put all those plastic disks on a 1 TB SSD

The AW 17 R1 "ranger" can have the GTX 980m easy. With some more adventurous modding it can take the GTX 980 (laptop non m version) or purportedly maybe the GTX 1060

    Hello,

I´m interested into the AW 17 R4 and got a question about the m2-2280 Slot´s, can they handle PCIE SSD´s only or is it possible i can use my 512GB m2-2280 SATA3 SSD too ?

Also in my country the 120Hz GSYNC panels will be available on mid November, can anyone tell me if the 60Hz panels are IPS too ? So i´m wanted to wait for the 120hz models

    Regards,
    aVa
