    any alienware reps on here that can tell me what panel they use for the 15 r3 uhd (to check if color gamut is enough)

    also:

    what do you guys do with the tons of returns? are the replacements from the same batch (ie what are my chances of getting a non defective laptop)

    and curious what reasons are there for getting the 6820 over the 6700?

    and if any owners read this, is it really better to order directly from dell over Hidevolution? (i would think the reseller could verify that the laptop is not defective before sending it to me no?)

    The reseller would test the system out for you.

    Do not get the 6820hk in the AW 15, temps are way too high in one core, it's a known problem all over the AW subforum.

    yeah i saw the threads but yet i kept seeing people saying to get the 6820.
    laptop is so i can game/work away from the desktop (got a x99/z170i). so im not sure i would gain any benefit from the 6820 even if it was as cool as the 6700


    why are people buying direct then, if by using a reseller you can guarantee you dont get a laptop with problems?

    It seems the 6820hk doesnr even have OC headroom with temps as high as they are so there isnt much benefit to getting one.
