    alienware 17 r4 vs 15 r3?

    currently i can acquire either of these and they are about the same price (<$50 difference) due to current sale and mail list coupon.

    only real difference between them (besides for the size, numpad, and subwoofer which is all a given i assume) is that for whatever reason AW decided to not give the 17 an ips display with g-sync (theres a tn option but no thanks) while the 15 does have an ips g-sync display

    i come here to ask which is more worth getting between the two? i really like having big screens but if g-sync is all that great i might as well go with the 15.
    or should i just avoid these all together?

    Well I have the 120Hz TN G-Sync QHD panel and it's superb! 0 light bleed and 400 nits brightness too! Surely you should judge it in how it looks rather than what technology it uses? It's the best of its type in the business, fantastic for gaming!
