Hi Guys I am on BIOS 1.0.8 with 1070 6770HQ latest GPU Drivers from Nvidia installed using DDU

My problem is only with Witcher 3 where after about 5 minutes the picture freezes but the sound continues and I have to alt tab and quit task.

I didnt notice this on stock drivers only when I updated which I find weird.

Has this happened to anyone else on the 17 r4 ?

Doing my head in trying to fix, I need to try another driver but thought I would put this our in the meantime,

    Thanks

    CPU and GPU?

If temps are fine download DDU and the latest nvidia driver from nvidia not Dell's site. Uninstall the nvidia drivers, run DDU to clean all nvidia files/registers stuff left behind. Then reinstall the latest driver.

I always do. Disconnect from the internet uninstall all nvidia stuff. Launch DDU, have it reboot into safe mode. Run the nvidia cleaner gen reboot and reinstall the nvidia drivers before connecting back to the internet.

I think I sorted it, well it wasn't crashing for ages but only has a small window to play after re0-installing drivers ect.

I think it was rivertunestats msi afterburner OSD.

I forgot to load it up after a reset and played for 30 mins, noticed it didn't crash and I didn't have the OSD on. Put MSI Afterburner on and then it crashed.

Will test again tonight without it to see how long I can play for.

    Thanks

You need to update the RTSS to version 7.
