Hi, I'm having some issues with the second hard drive, the BIOS does recognize it but windows does not, it doesn't show on computer management either, reinstalled Windows to try to fix it but no luck either, i ran the ePSA test wondering if something was wrong with the hardware but it said everything was fine, does anybody know what may be the problem and how to fix it? Thanks a lot.

P.S: It's the 980m Alienware, it is new and I have been using it for a week tops, currently running A00 BIOS, with the 240w psu, OS installed in "Second slot", 1TB HD is on the "fixed slot".

I was sent out a replacement system with this problem. I opened the bottom panel and unplugged the 1TB HDD and reconnected it, reinstalled windows and it is now recognised in windows.

The service manual gives easy instructions on how to do this and make sure your laptop is shut down ;)!

Is your 1TB HDD made by HGST by any chance? Mine is, I had never heard of them before.
