I was always averaging 1160 for Heaven benchmark no matter what I did with 8.1. Win 10 = 1202

My average for Firestrike was 8190. Win 10 = 8385

Using HWinfo with fans max + TS and had no throttling whatsoever. Max temps were 78°C

No driver related issues upgrading?, what are your overall thoughts on 10 vs 8.1? Been thinking about switching but cannot shake this feeling i would be plugging into something i shouldn't, bending over for the Nsa, or like i am plugging my wallet directly into the usb port Haha

Only driver issue was the Sound Blaster. Removed old SB in control panel, reinstalled. Turned off all Microsoft snooping tools. That's it!

Seems faster, no problems at all.

Oh, also had to reinstall my Razer Synapse software as well.

Me and a few friends religiously play BF4 and we all have noticed slightly better frames after upgrading to W10. The only driver issue I had when upgrading was that bluetooth no longer worked but dell released a ton of new drivers a few days ago so I was good to go once I updated that.

Also had an issue with sound once I upgraded, was fixed by reinstalling the audio driver. The killer wireless driver dell released for windows 10 stopped my wifi from working, had to system restore to fix it. Apart from that, 10 runs pretty well and looks a lot better than 8.1. Noticed a very slight fps increase too

Thanks for the advice on the Killer driver, have you noticed any other problems with the new win10 drivers so far?

Nothing yet, will keep everyone posted if I notice anything. So far I think the upgrade is worth it, mainly because I was never a fan of windows 8. I'd recommend creating a system image backup and then try out windows 10, so if anything goes badly wrong you can always return to your current OS.

Curious, was this a "Clean Install" of Windows 10?

    No. Just upgrade from 8.1
