My wifi keeps cutting off after a few minutes, especially when watching youtube videos. Anyone experienced the same? It wasn't like this before.

Have you try disable the Killer Wireless app? Mine sort of did similar thing but instead of cutting off, the speed would spike from zero to max, after I disable it and remove it from Startup, it never happen again.

How far are you from the router?, I use mine on a second floor and it works flawlessly when on the other hand my HP Spectre 13 fails miserably and disconnects just like yours...

Not very. My signal strength is usually at 80%. All of my other devices, including smart phones are not affected. Basically what happens is it goes to limited connection and I can't even access the router's admin page. Disconnecting then reconnecting fixes it... until it happens again after 15-20 mins.

Have you tried updating any and all drivers? I use to have the same issue on my m14x r2, a driver update fixed it immediately.

Yup, that was the first thing I did.

I am now trying to see if it is related to heat as the temps here in the Philippines are reaching 40C with very high humidity.

Have you tried updating the drivers for the wireless card from the manufacturer's site? I don't think the temps could be causing that.

One of my friend would lose wifi signal at certain locations at his place when a hdmi cable was connected to his system (inspiron 15) from an external monitor. You could try disconnecting some cables to identify the cause.
