    Hi everyone.

I couldnt find a group for the new 15r4 but i've literally just ordered one and thinking about changing the order first thing tomorrow (i9, 1070 and 1tb 7200rpm HDD)

Im looking to put a m.2 drive in - to boot from. Theyre charging an extra £50 to swap the drive from a 7200rpm HDD to a 256GB M.2 2280 PCIe Solid State Drive but what brand is this because ive seen a 250gb 960 Pro on amazon for £100 (and it saves me buying a mechanical drive afterwards)

What would you advise - the cost works out the same

    1. Dell 7200rpm HDD and buy my own 960 pro for £100
    2. Upgrade to Dells m.2 for £50 and spend another £50 on a HDD

I dont mind upgrading because it saves me migrating the OS over but i've done it before in macrium and it seems pretty striaghtforward?

Aah and PS, i picked their normal drive 7200rpm instead of the hybrid drive (1tb 5400rpm (8gb SSD)). Wasnt too keen on the hybrid but can change that if its better?

    More than likely 2 2280 m.2 and a 2.5.. possibly a third m.2 in the shorter format.

I always buy my own drives after the fact the ones they put in are low end Samsungs NOT WORTH IT imo. Go with the 960 1tb combo that is what i usually do buy their bottom basement drive config and add a 960 as the boot drive.

Crucial, Samsung are usual goto SSDs purchased by most users and has guaranteed compatibility and speed.
