    I have an alienware 15 r1 early 2015 model.
    1. I am going to upgrade my 8gb ddr3 ram to 16gb ddr3l ram. This is what i am planning to replace it with.

    Is this good or not? If not pls link a better alternative.
    2. My laptop has the 1080p screen and i want the 4k touch screen. Can anyone give me a link or links for compatible models?
    3. What else can i upgrade other than adding in an ssd (which i will not do due to cost and the unreliability of ssd)

    this is one of the best Sodim ddr3l ram ... good latency
    i have the same model as you with 16gb hyperx impact .... but in amazon i found that this ram is more costly ...
    samsung 850evo m.2 is the best choice, i have 2 of these
    i have the 1080p display, the 4k screen is going to cost you too much; and as far as i know the 4k panel have 40 pins cable, mine and yours have 30 pins cable ... so i think it is incompatible
