    hi everyone,

I'm currently waiting delivery of my new aw 15, this will be my first windows pc since around 2008 and also my first gaming pc!
So I have a few questions regarding the updating of drivers and software etc. I hope I don't seem too stupid but I'd just like a few things clarified as I'm a little unsure how things will work.

With regards to any updates to windows 8, I take it windows will prompt me as and when they become available?

With drivers I've seen a lot of discussion about dell being slightly slow on updating there driver updates?
I think will regards to things like my gpu I will use the nvidea GeForce experience to keep everything up to date?
What other drivers should I ensure to keep up to date? Off the top of my head I can only think of things like cpu, wireless card what else?
Also if I don't download them via the dell updater and I go directly to the manufacturers websites were should I have them save to? I don't want to run into any registry issues? And what happens to old drivers when new ones are updated and installed? Are they deleted or should they be?

I hope this makes sense I hope I'm not being too stupid!
    Thanks for reading.
