    Hey all,

I saw the new BIOS posted yesterday and tried to update and am unable to. Just boots to a black screen and sits there, gave it a couple hours and nothing... Anyone know how to fix this? I have tried ALL BIOS versions now.

    Back story

Was able to update BIOS fine originally but had to have a new MOBO installed. This MOBO came with 1.2.3. When I tried to update originally I received BIOS flash has failed and it rebooted. Now when I try to change the BIOS version I get the black screen as mentioned above.

Any ideas? I'm debating going through the usb flash...

    System:
    AW15R2
    I7-6820HK
    GTX-980M 8GB
    4k screen

    Thanks in advance.

try copying the bios setup file to USB driver from another system and press F12 during boot, go to BIOS flash, from there select the BIOS try to update it from there.. make sure u downloaded 100%, sometimes the .exe files in Dell doesnt download proper, i use BIOS flash utility most times.. i dont have any update, may be its because im using R1, its still A06 on website.. give a try..
