    Not really. It might convert the signal but it will never surpass 3.0 speeds. Also. Be wary of usb c cables out there. Some are of such bad quality known to wreck usb ports.

    If you put a picture of a jet engine on your car would it make it a jet fighter? Of course not.

    Those adapters just change the plug. If they even do that much.
