I'd install the latest USB driver, make sure you are using the latest BIOS. If latest USB driver doesn't work, roll it back or try a few older ones and see if it fixes anything?

Hopefully the USB port controller isn't broken on it.

Call AW support if you can't fix it & get a mobo or system replacement. Don't send it in for repair-ask for an onsite technician if you have that coverage.

Not much more you can do.

It's not uncommon that these machines have USB issues.. My brand new 17R3 was not reading data at all from the top left USB port, but when I plugged in a Bluetooth mouse dongle that worked fine. Nothing I tried could make it read data (in that one port), others worked fine. Finally I had the machine replaced with another brand new 17R3 due to that issue and a few other issues as well- the new replacement is perfect now. Zero issues with it.

If you tried all the above and nothing worked, try wiping your drive clean, then doing a fresh OS install. Finish all updates and make sure you are using all the latest drivers.

If that fails it's obvious you need either a new motherboard or a laptop replacement.

When a USB controller goes, it's very tricky... Most times it doesn't work, but sometimes very rarely it works. Hope you get it all sorted out.
