    17" R3 or 15" R2 Models ...

Is it possible to take off the FHD Screen Assembly and do a straight swap with a UHD Screen Assembly?

Straight plug in and play??? Same Plug/Pins?

I've been seeing some uncertainty as to which pin type the UHD has....

    Thanks.

    Crickets? ..... j/k...

I know I know.....it's so new....and of course unless one was replacing their screen, there wouldn't be any need to take the display off....

    Anyone?

    Update:

    FHD - uses 30/40 pins.

    UHD - uses 40/40 pins.

You will need a new harness and of course the 4k panel to accomplish this.
