Please fire the people who paste your units. I have had 3 Alienwares over the last 2 years and have found defects in all the paste jobs in the units, with pinhead holes everywhere. Kinda thinking there is a lack of quality control, or your pasting robot is on the fritz lol.

No one pastes the units, Its a preapplyed STAMP on the heatsink. The paste quality is **** anyways just like with any company tbh.

What are you talking about? Some guy in the owners lounge says he has been using Alienwares for over 9 years, and buys a new one every 3-4years. Hasnt had a single issue.

According to him every other person is a big fat liar.

Lol, tbh I can believe it either way. I have had a similar experience, I have not really had any issues with my A/W's in the time I have been using them. (Around 10ish years) But I do always repaste the units and always have. But I wont discount anyone's issues they have had, all of the manufacturers and stand to pick it up a little.

Agreed, Its the same with Desktop stock heatsinks you buy, its a preapplyed square stamp and the paste low quality ****. Most the time it gets the job done just not very well.
