I have to say im very very glad i bought my 15R1 with the touch and non anti glare for some reason i cant stand that bezel! I love the all glass look the r1 models have i was going to purchase a 15 r2 but that was a deal breaker sadly, Just want to get your guys opinion on the anti glare and the all glass panel. I know the anti glare has its benefits but i just cant get myself to like that it kinda reminds me of the old mac book airs.

Not here to bash the anti glare screen just wanted to get your thoughts!

I had a glossy screen on my XPS 15, now I'm using the anti-glare on my AW 15 R2. So far I haven't seen any disadvantage to the anti-glare screen, and one huge advantage: no glare.

I sometimes dislike the glare on glass but i prefer the looks of the colors and the overall design. In the end I prefer a glass layer over the LCD screen. Glar ebecomes less an issue when the screen brightness is excellent (300nits+). TOo bad they do not offer it anymore on FHD models like they did in the past with the M15X serie for example. The bezel looks indeed a bit too plasticy. Hopefully I can score a UHD screen assembly with screen someday for the AW15 R1.

I think the same. I love how the glossy screen looks, it's alive! haha. But there are no disadvantages in using the anti-glare one. Some people hate to have reflection on their screens and prefer to use that one.
