I was looking at refurb alienwares and was wondering why the prices over at the outlet store are more expensive compared to resellers over at ebay. I know some of them are located in rehoboth(no sales tax if i am not mistaken been there too and the outlet store is pure awesome) but it still doesnt make sense why they could possibly sell it cheaper compared to alienware themselves. Unless ofc they are making their own laptops rofl. Anyways, any idea why? Also any idea where i can get cheaper refurb alienwares?

    More info please.
What is your budget? are you looking only for Pascal gen AW only? 13, 15, or 17 size?

Specifically the alienware 15r3 6700hq 1tbhdd gtx1070 +120hz 1080p panel. Its way cheaper at ebay. I wanted to pick one up over at dell so i could easily do an exchange if i wont like it but with the huge price difference, i am forced to pick one up over at ebay. The one with 7820hk+ 1070+120hz 1080p was also a great pick up but wouldnt make sense to pay 1900usd for it when i could get a BRAND NEW predator with a gtx1080+7700hq in it over at microcenter

You should have no problem getting it on ebay. You can buy Dell's warranty at any time for like $80 even if you didn't get the laptop from them.

I wouldn't pay over $1000 for an Acer Preditor. Not only is it ugly, it is the cheapest pice of junk I have ever laid hands on.

Really? Ive heard good things about it except the speakers which have mixed reviews. But 2kusd for a gtx 1080+7700hq is a hella of a deal!

The one I played with creaked and groaned on every surface I pressed. Just a big piece of plastic with questionable styling. I did not dig that logo and red grills either.

IMHO gtx 1080+7700hq is a hella bad pairing. The 7700hq will seriously hold back the GTX 1080. A GTX 1070 at a lower price or the HK unlocked processor would be better
