    No way that is suicide. There's no way they would ever do that migrating to different pcs or motherboards etc would be an absolute nightmare for servicing.

    Hi nickbarbs,

    It's their own MB's? They already have gone to M.2 NVMe, all they need to do is put these disks on M.2 cards, or they could change the MB where the NVMe circuitry is, to accept these BGA chips on board.

    New models are coming out once or twice a year, so it's only a matter of time before they do it.
