My AW has a 512GB SSD and a 1TB spinning drive in it.
I noticed that in the BIOS my SATA mode is set to "Raid ON" vs ACHI.
Has anyone done any IO tests switching to ACHI from RAID to see what is better?

I was also debating re-installing to the 1TB drive and using the SSD as a cache drive.
I have seen that in the Intel rapid storage and as an option in Windows too.

If you are load time sensitive it would make sense to put as much on the SSD but eventually you will run out.
So was thinking maybe it might be better to have everything on the 1TB and accelerate it with the 512 SSD?
