Replacement screen help 15R2 UHD

Hey peeps,

Hope you can point me in the right direction, in short I squashed my 15R2 and have marked the screen, it's not terrible but it's insulting my eyes, and reminding me of my stupidity.

I just got off the phone and Dell wanted £89 to diagnose my stupidity (why>?) and £257 for the LCD panel.
It's ridicious they won't sell me the panel without an engineer coming out to install it, and then want daylight robbery for the panel itself

Can anyone hook me up with where to get one of these screens please, I've taken the screen apart many times for light bleed issues and 4 screws to swap out a panel isn't hard.

I need the 15.6" 4K Matte screen Dell Part no. KY9JH / SHP1450
I'm open to a gloss panel or a upgrade to the existing (read a topic on doing that with 1080p)

So please help

It's the same screen as you broke.

 

Look online for a LG LP156WF6 SP A1 or B1

The A1 is glossy and B is matte.

Lifted this number from my LG screen that I used in the AW15R2. I paid around 70 euro for it but I see them for cheaper now on Ebay. Just make sure they send you that actual panel and not just a compatible one. The compatible ones often have lower peak brightness etc. This was one of the best panels I could find that fit the AW15R2.

Fair enough. Does anyone have any experience with these outlets on Ebay, who has actually received the panel they wanted and not a compatible component instead?

 

Just look at the title, when they say "or compatible" you always get a compatible, if that is not present in the title you get the exact monitor. The link I sent you is the exact model.

 

Ok I only ask as the item specifics arent very specific not even mentioning Sharp, which raised my suspicions

I noticed the model number is different from your suggestion? I think it might be a typo, but Cant say for sure.

I mean his picture is quite clear. In the worst case just contact the guy and ask.
