I am also interested in getting the Intel 8265 wireless card, i want to use the 'Wifi Direct' feature to connect to PS4 etc, not sure if OP is still around but wondering if anyone else has tried replacing the wireless card for a different one? thanks!

So as for the WiFi Direct feature for a PS4. I have my doubts.
But you can most certainly replace the WiFi card in your system with the 8265.

As a side note, one of the main reasons i buy dell products is because they are very good about supplying these manuals and keeping these manuals available for years and years and years after the product has left production.
Edit: Be very very careful with the wifi cable connectors. I've had the garbage killer wifi connector links break off right into the tip of the antenna cable. I hate killer products because of how cheaply made and how horrible their performance is. -
Thanks for the info. I'm also not sure if the Wifi Direct will work but will update you if it does.
