    Hello everyone,

Today something weird happened, I pressed the power button in my alienware 15 then just a moment later, nothing appeared but a completely red screen then a white one, I pressed the power button again to shutdown.
Then, I turned it on again, screen was normal that time but when it got to windows loading screen, it shut itself down, then I turned it on again and everything is fine now.

My question is what happened? And shall I worry?
Notice that there were no changes done to my laptop, no new software, updates or even a hardware change, just turning it on as I do every morning.

    My greetings.

    Hi SinovenatoR,
You can do a full hardware check by running a diagnostics test (ePSA) by booting your system and pressing the F12 key. You might also want to try a built in self test for the LCD by booting the system and holding the D key. If something shows up please let me know.

I ran the ePSA and there was no problems, when I ran the LCD self test with the D button, it came up with the colors that I firstly saw, do you think that I simply pressed the D button mistakenly while booting? I mean, there was no problem in the first place but simply I ran the LCD test without my intention.
