    13 R2 BIOS 1.2.7
    Fixes & Enhancements
    [BIOS]
    -Modify firmware device GUID
-Update NVIDIA N16EGR VBIOS (Just from online searching, this happens to be a GTX 965m 2016 update. The 13 R2 doesn't have a GTX 965m, though. So it may be added when the OLED display releases.)
-Update MCU 0x74 for 406E3/506E3 CPU

    15 R2 and 17 R3 BIOS 1.2.7
    Fixes & Enhancements
    [BIOS]
-Update MCU 0x74 for 406E3/506E3 CPU
    -Modify firmware device GUID

It looks to be a fix for the bug in the Skylake chips.

for the 13 r2, it seems to have messed with TPM, nothing serious (disabling and re-enabling from BIOS seems to have fixed it). will have to try it on my 15 R2 tonight.

Has anyone had any issues with the 1.2.7 bios? I have a 17r3. When I restart my system from windows it goes to a black screen for 30 seconds or so and then goes to the alienware screen for another 30 seconds. It then cannot find a bootable drive and asks me to press f1 to reboot, f2, or f5. If I press f1 it instantly will boot to windows. I do not have any issues when I shutdown or sleep. This only occurs when I actually restart.

btw its not the free fall issue since i have uninstalled that and reinstalled it and the same issue occurs in both situations.
