    Hi
    I was trying to upgrade my bios to A06, now im on A05, but when i try to upgrade the program ask me a password, and i didnt set a password, how can i upgrade my bios, i tried removing the cmos battery and it still ask me for a password
    hope you can help me

    Did you buy it pre-owned? I have never been asked that unless I set the password.

    yes i bought it pre-owned, i asked for the password but the guy who sold me the AW told me that he forgot the password, there is anyway i can reset the bios or by pass the password

    No just touch the pins at the same time, then isnert the memory again, battery cable. It should be working after.

    Nothing happen, i'll do more research about how to clear cmos

    Clearing the CMOS will not reset the password!
    After several attempts on the password it will generate a code you can contact tech support with and they will give you an unlock password.
    It can however take sometime for them to give you the code (days).
    I have already been through this.

    FYI try going into the BIOS. Do you have access to the BIOS options at all?
    The flash password you are referring to is the same password you would use to enter the BIOS or turn on your computer. (depending on the setting used)

    i would try to get that code and contact tech support, i can enter to the bios but modify settings, thank you for your answers!
