To the best of my knowledge, this does not work for the 15r3 with 1080 60hz ips display. You can attempt to manually install, but during installation, it shows a microsoft error message, stating that this driver is not compatible with this computer, and to select a different driver from the manufacturer. I have not seen or heard of anyone getting it to work on this model. It may work on the 60hz Gsync or the 120hz displays, I don't know.

I am OC'ing using Official intel driver that fix Optimus Prime issues. @judal57 I can only max out to 75-80Hz.

My Dell's stock 15.6" UHD panel ( AUO20EB - F2TW2_B156ZAN ) got a massive +3Hz more OC from 59Hz(stock, wtf? lol) to 62Hz(auto-standard timing) not manually messing with any custom timings. My external monitor (ASUS VW266H) went from 60Hz to 71Hz (auto-native). Better than nothing. :)

    EDIT:
Unfortunately 60+Hz is no good on full screen games on my UHD panel, so I reverted it back to stock 59Hz :-\ I didn't notice this until late due to usually using my external monitor for gaming. The 62Hz works fine for general computing and office work though, not that it's really much of any gain. Oh well.

Manage to arrive in this link you've mentioned and after installing it error said that it's not compatible with my OS. So, rechecked my OS again and the version I downloaded and it was correct. I went to intel support and downloaded the assist to detect my driver and downloaded again what it suggested and after installing it it said the same error. This part I'm suspecting that maybe my driver is corrupted so I downgraded my driver to basic and reinstalled the latest version which I believe the same version as vasudev stated and it went successful now. I overclocked the display until 100h slowly and it's ok now. Seems like i could push some more but I keep 100h presently. Thanks for OP and all who participated in this topic.Hope my experience would give idea to other owners to OC their unit successfully.

I'm using my unit mostly on games and movies prior sleeping here onboard ships and I would say that the games feels smoother as bringing up the fps vsync on and as the display refresh rate, of course some games are not optimized perfectly so adjustments are still necessary for maximum gaming experience.

On a Alienware 17 R3, unable to install the driver bundled in the zip. When I force install, it gives a driver signature error unfortunately.
On the latest driver, I've only managed a maximum of 65Hz. Anything more than that causes the screen to go black.

I think my AW has a Samsung panel? HWinfo says Samsung 156HL (SDC4C48)

    Any similar experiences?
