    My AW 13 R3 had a bare PCH and got to 100C. I added a little heatsink like @iunlock but temps were still toasty.

    Keep in mind PCH is able to operate higher than CPU. 100C isn't actually it's high point, I believe it's 110-125C.

    However I do recommend keeping it cool to around 80C or less if possible.
