We have no info about that at the moment. I'd suggest you to follow our main FB and Twitter accounts. If an announcement is made, it'll be through there.

You may want to wait, the most recent BIOS release mentions updates to prep for AMOLED screens. So I would expect them to drop in the next 90 days.

Why is everyone so hyped on OLED?

-They can be burned in very easily
-They tend to ghost badly especially on larger screen
-They display certain shades grainier (grays especially) more then an a typical LCD.
    -They cost more.

Yes the colors and the contrast looks better but if we are just getting IPS screens to finally have good response times etc why jump to the next immature display technology?

    Just sayin'

1ms response time .... this sounds good ? that means no ghosting ! oled do not require backlighting like LCD, so say goodby to bleading and more energy efficiency; fantastically vibrant images, better white and black color. are light than the others

Well for one response times on paper are in many cases marketing BS. If you look on several LCD sites that actually test response times and latency you will see that many IPS/TN panels that claim to be 1ms actually are more like 5ms and higher. Regardless it is common knowledge that OLED ghosts especially on dark screens and even more so with text.
I also cannot tell you how many times I bought a 1ms monitor and it still was blurry.

The information I provided before is for one common knowledge, but I have personally seen these things myself first hand.

-My buddy works for Dell and was testing their OLED monitor a few months ago. It looks amazing but does have ghosting more then my AW laptop IPS
-My dad has an OLED TV. TV and Movies look good. Video games and PC doesnt.
-And everyone with a Samsung Galaxy phone has an OLED screen in their pocket.
(If you have a galaxy go to a dark menu and scroll around and watch the text. You will see the ghosting.
Also search online about OLED and burn in. Its quite common. Most examples are TVs at the store that have been on display only for a few months. The need for a screen saver is back again.

Granted indeed much like IPS the images look amazing so depending on your need you might want the OLED.
I personally want the least amount of ghosting as possible.
As I mentioned before this was IPS(s) main problem when it first hit the scene. The colors looked awesome but ghosting etc was bad.
Finally we are at a point where IPS panels are getting decent and now we want something else lol.
Either way it comes down to personal preference. As a gamer and perfectionist I would rather have a decent IPS.

Also it should be noted that Dell doesn't exactly have a good track record of including the best panels in their systems.
Dont worry OLED will get there like IPS has. However out the gate its not there yet.

    Just saying.
