Ok, So I managed to get the system down to .145 UV all is stable, but noticed something odd with it in gen sense I started doing this. My fans once they spin up do not spin back down they come down to about 30-40% and just hold no matter if the system is at idle or not. They will spin up higher if demand becomes needed but they wont spin down any lower then around 40%.

Anyone ran into this issue or know how to fix it ? only way I can get them to spin down is a reboot.

    Edit.
Also temps are low. Max the system hits is around 70-75C under load and when at idle its down to 30-40C, at the 30-40C and fans still moving at a good clip.

Yes that does sound odd I can't imagine why a fan controller would tie to voltage.

Is this behavior present at stock voltage? Maybe your drives, PCH, anything else with a temp sensor in the machine not returning to idle temps? If you blast a laptop cooling pad at it will your fans then spin down?

I know HWinfo64 can allow for manual fan adjustment and fan performance mode in the bios puts them on full blast. I'm not certain we have any control over the fans otherwise.

If anyone more privvy on the inner workings of the fan controller could chime in that info could be enlightening.

Temps return to normal fine, It has to be something with XTU. Uninstall it all is good. I might try to modify with TStop instead and say screw XTU

Not to be rude, but are you sure you moved the slider down, and not up? I moved it up by accident once and had a .125 overvolt for a few days without thinking . That would put the fans on.
