Now Windows 10 is scheduled to be released on July 29th, any official FAQ on updating on AW laptops?

Will there be an official FAQ page for Alienware owners who is about to upgrade to Windows 10?

Important questions such as, "Will I lose warranty?" or "Can I redeem my old Windows product keys if I do a regular clean installation of Windows 10 on the recovery partition?".

Even if it's downright obvious, I am wondering if there's going to be a FAQ page or not prior to the Windows 10 launch date. That's all.

Hope they give proper support ASAP, when I went from W7 to 8 on my Envy Laptop I had nothing but headaches here and there regarding compatibility issues mostly.

I'll discuss that with the team in charge. Seems like a great option to me.

I know that the Alienware 13, Alienware 14, Alienware 15, Alienware 17 R1-R2, and Alienware 18 will receive driver support if it's necessary (Windows 10 will have backward compatibility with many Windows 7,8 and 8.1 drivers).

I can also tell you that the warranty isn't voided if the O.S is changed, we may ask you to go back to the factory O.S if issues arise on a non-Windows 10 certified machine but that's pretty much it.

The Windows licenses aren't lost when you do upgrades, therefore you should be able to go back to the previous O.S if you have the activation codes. In the case of Windows 8, that's being added to the motherboard.

    EDIT:
If anyone has any other questions about this, ask me here.

I'll try to address them as much as I can. I have limited info until the Official Release is done, but I may have some insights.
