So, a while back I enabled "Desktop Mode" (right-click on the power icon in the system tray thingy and select "Desktop mode battery charge"), and the battery charge slowly went down to 70%. I now need to use my aw13 unplugged, so I clicked "Charge Battery to 100% one time", but it's not charging.
I need all the battery power I can get (especially since the thing discharges improperly when booted from battery power), but I don't know how to make it start charging.

Anyone know what I need to do to get it to start charging?

Even disabling Desktop Mode didn't help...initially...
While I did play with powering off, unplugging, etc. did not help.
After plugging it back in after being unplugged for several hours, it finally started charging...
But I ended up having to take my AC adapter with me which I didn't want to do.

I don't remember all of the combinations I tried. I know I did a restart, a shutdown & power on; and a shut down / unplug / plug / power on. None of that worked.
