    I forgot about DOS mode after purchasing Dell. Earlier, I used to follow flashing BIOS through FreeDOS/DOS mode to avert issues. Thanks for reminding me.

    YOu can flash the bios from the BIOS itself.

    Is the option named "BIOS Flash settings" that is listed when hitting F12 during startup?

    Hmm dont know from the top of my head. its in the menu where you can choose bios boot type (uefi, legacy etc).

    Yeah I got it. I forget a lot, when working on wide variety of lappies available incl. Lenovo's and Dell.

    I rolled back to 1.3.6. I kept getting freezing issues after taking the laptop out of sleep. It would just sit there with all the lights on and the screen black, having to do a hard re-boot to fix it. I have not had any issues so far after rolling back. Will wait till their next BIOS update.

    Reinstall the intel hd drivers after fully uninstalling them to fix the issue.
