hi all, I am the new owner of a 7820K, 1080 GTX 17 R4, and I am having some quirky issues.

    1. Number Key pad, thunder bolt dock error?!
When I hit the number lock key on the number pad, a message pops up telling me that the computer is not compatible with the thunderbolt docking station I have connected. But this is the built in number pad, not an external. Number key works fine. Anyone seeing this?

    2. Tobii Eye Tracking device not found
Today i noticed my Tobii wasn't working. Uninstalling and reinstalling the device software didn't fix it. Uninstalling the webcam and then reinstalling tobii got it working again, but this is hard. Has this happened to anyone else?

On PSA items, I had the following issues.

    A. Checking your heat sink assembly when you open it for adding ram or storage is a good thing. I checked mine and was missing a screw! Doh. Screw is on order, for now using one from a spare Harddrive. Will eventually repaste when I find the time.

    B. Toshiba SSD stuck in heater mode and was runnin hot with no apps open. Got dell to send a Samsung.

    C. screen Bleed but with amazing color on the 4K UHD panel. There is some screen bleed around the edges and I think it's bezel related. I can only see it on start up. For now have calibrated the screen and it tested out with around 99% coverage of Adobe RGB, and sRGB and 89% DCI-P3. I was impressed, as its color and grayscale accuracy beat my OLED averages. I have the AUO panel.

Despite the misses in construction, I am really digging this computer and it's been a beast.

I also get that error when u hit the NumLock key so it is not just you. I have had some issues with Tobii Eye when just closing the lid and leaving the computer running at night but after messing with the power options it seems to be ok for now. I set it up to do nothing when the lid is closed and turned off the Tobii Eye feature that turns off the screen (at first i thought it was cool but it got annoying to me). I also have the 4K screen and have noticed some bleed but its minor and does not really bother me.

I had the OSD "error" too.
Redownload and reinstall the Alienware OSD Application. Fixed it for me.
I can't remember off hand if I just did the latest or had to go back a version.

There is Tobii v2.8.0 as well on help.tobii.com. From the relase notes:
    • Fixed an issue with the Power Features for customers using Windows 10 Redstone 2.
