Just became a new owner of the 15R2. I purchased one through the Dell outlet for around $1900 with tax with the following stats:

    i7-6280HK
    4K Touch Screen
    32GB RAM
    1 TB SSD + 1 TB HDD

So pretty top of the line specs, most of which I don't need but I thought it was a great price. The original description of the system on the outlet website didn't list the graphics card but under the upgrades it listed that it came with the 240W charger, so I assumed it was going to come with the GTX 980m. However to my dismay, the system came with the AMD R9 M395X. I am leaning towards returning the system and waiting for another laptop to be posted on the outlet site with the 980m. I could probably get a laptop that is much cheaper with less RAM and a smaller SSD. What do you guys think? Will the M395X be powerful enough for mobile use paired with the AGA with a desktop graphics card for home use? Or should I return it and opt for the 980m? Thanks in advance.

if i was you, yes .... the m395x performance is less than gtx 970m and dont have the overlock capabilities like gtx 970m or 980m... return it and wait for a new aw 15 with oled or another good deal with a least a gtx 970m

I suggest the same because the M395X isn't even as powerful as a 970M and you'd want something as good if you're gonna go with the 4k screen.

Return it. Amd mobile gpus are quite **** atm. Slow, more power hungry and far more driver issues.

Thanks for the replies! I've initiated the return and will purchase another machine when I get my money refunded.
