Yesterday i reset my Windows back to Factory settings, the computer turned back to Windows 8, and the battery stopped working, Now its not loading not holding any charge. I dunno if it got broken during the process or what had happened. Any ideas? How can i return to win10? i dont wanna go with win 8. Ty.

Use HWINFO or HWMon to check the wear levels OR use ePSA which can be accessed by hitting F12 upon seeing Alienware Logo and choose Diagnostics. Click on battery or adapter to diagnose any issue, if either one fails you might have to replace battery or adapter.

Yeah, i used the ePSA and says the battery is wasted. Is it easy to replace or i better contact a technician?

is it posible to update the bios without battery?
Whenever i try it from Windows it says it is needed to have at least 10% battery remaining -

Hmm ... no.
You could flash modified battery firmware, but all that would accomplish is a lower charge voltage (extending longevity). And think you'd want to limit amps instead, right? Crimping battery draw supply that way would force the laptop to throttle, increasing battery time. -
The battery is from Alienware, this time they sent a Sanyo one with much more capacity than Simplo. Sanyo has 6380mAh at 14.8V as opposed to simplo's 6000mAh at 16.8V.
Then again Windows charges the battery at 52W at 16.4-17V while Linux is a little bit slower. Any way to limit Charge rate by settings thermal limit as mentioned in MSFT docs https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/component-guidelines/battery-and-charging
Its called Thermal Charge rate direction. -
Sanyo makes very good cells and is owned by Panasonic, the industry's number one. Simplo doesn't actually make cells, but they assemble the packs; if you open it up you'll find the actual manufacturer.
Slower charging makes sense. No idea how to force that software-wise, but suppose you could trick the battery into thinking it's overheating, thereby slowing the charge rate. You'd have to open the pack and swap the thermistor to a model with a different temperature curve or relocate it to the cpu heatsink.Vasudev likes this. -
After 20 days the new battery has wear level of 2.6% after I calibrated it some days ago. Otherwise wear level was 0.2%
AW batteries are very temp sensitive, the rise in temps upwards of 65C made a bulge on older battery and dell refused to replaced saying ePSA test shows battery is very good. Finally, nearing my end of warranty battery failed.
Do you have experience buying batteries from laptopbatteryexpress.com

Does samsung really make battery cells? -
Yes, Samsung is an original manufacturer (a well-regarded one, to boot). The ~$100 is about twice the normal cost, but at least these should be genuine.
Every brand-new battery will show some wear level even after first time use. Reason is that they're all programmed with the same firmware (which lists the capacity), yet each cell is slightly different. The early increase in wear should taper off, however; if it continues to drop then the replacement battery is either a fake (using lower mAh cells) or it has used cells inside them.
All li-ion cells are temperature-sensitive, so it's not just AW packs. Iirc, charge speed starts to slow down as early as 40°C or so, depending on the specific charge circuit.Vasudev likes this. -
i appreciate your help :'(Vasudev likes this. -
BTW, your battery is Toshiba. But it uses same model no. as mine PABxxx. -
@Vasudev i bought mine from here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/131512132328?ul_noapp=true completely original and sealed
