guys I have a problem with my oled 13r3, everything works fine but suddenly my speakers gave up. Tried everything:
    - Factory reset
    - Uninstalled driver, reinstalled a different one
    - Checked the cables in motherboard, etc.
    Nothing worked.

Headphones works fine but sometimes give a bulbing-kind of (like a lighting bulb going off) sound. Sometimes very randomly speakers would sound for 3-5 seconds and shut up again. The volume mixer still runs green bars as if there was sound.

    Any help is appreciated.

Seems like an hardware issue, you might as well get in contact with Dell.

Thanks for answering Vasudev, such a pity it is such a great laptop. The thing is I have to wait 2 weeks for my warranty to transfer as I don't live in the US. I was so hoping this was a software issue.

@infernike: You could try PreBoot System Assessment test by hitting F12 during startup and hit diagnostics. It will run some test and allow it to run and after successful completion you'll get big beep sound, if you get beep sound your speaker might be working. Try this, I forgot this in a hurry!
