    Hello everyone,

i just want to share my experiance with Pete Light´s repaste job.

    Story:

I bought my Alienware 15R3 (7700hq, 1060gtx, 1080p ips Gsync) six month ago. Temps and performance were horrible out of the box (90-100 degrees) with shutter and little freezes everywhere. After playing with the system for some weeks, i decided to sent it back to Dell for a repair. (They have replaced the Radiator and sent the unit back to me) Temps were the same. I tried to play arround with Throttlestop, raised back and some other tweaks, but it didnt help much.

Some month ago Pete offered me to do a repaste job. The only problem we got were the shipping costs. Since i am from Germany, there were some issues. (the insured shipment costs are like 150 from England to Germany and you cant send it with Battery etc.)

i endet up sending my unit to Pete and "wow"! What an awesome Job he did....

He kept me up to date with every step he did with my unit. He always answered all of my questions very detailed and fast. The service was perfekt. TBH nothing more to say here!

let me show you some pictures of the repaste job done. (pictures say more than 1000 words...)

Witcher 3 for 14 hrs (Charakter stood still):

Much thanks to Pete! I would always send my unit to him again.

    best regards,

    pete

Please use IMGUR to post pictures, with direct link with the IMG (in brackets) then the link, then the /img to close it out (also in brackets), at the end of the image.

I don't want to try to click to zoom in on your pictures and then be redirected to some strange site asking me to do something. And nice temps. But please don't use that strange hosting site.

Much better. Easier to read now I can click it and see the temps without having to go to my 27" screen on my desktop :)

Correct (grizzly conductonaut) among some other mods too, but even so they are some fantastic results. I warned Peter to begin with that there may not be that much of a difference because of his configuration however liquid magic exceeded all expectations here also :)

LM really works as advertised. 10-20C lower than best traditional paste.
