Anyone know how I could get this done in a quality fashion? I'm in the northeast US and would be more than willing to drive, but shipping is okay too. I'm having a really hard time getting into contact with anyone to do this... I tried iunlock's email last week to no avail, as well as other threads pertaining to this, I've called just about every repair shop in the area, put up ads, nothing at all.

I wish HIDevolution would take in laptops to do their service (Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on CPU + GPU, and Fujipoly Extreme Thermal Pads on heat sensitive surfaces) but they only do it with their own orders.

In regards to sending your laptop for someone to do anything to it, be smart about it:
    1. Always ask for a real name, address, and telephone number.
    2. Always use delivery confirmation.
    3. Purchase your own return shipping, do not send cash.
    4. Use your common sense, there are very few people I would send something as expensive as a laptop.

NBR doesn't currently authorize or support any such services and they are of course done at your own risk.

I don't know how to get in contact with them. I don't have an option to DM anyone on here from what I can see... I emailed iunlock over a week ago to no avail and can't find an email for Mobius.

They are members of this forum and people I would trust for advice, but not someone I'd send my laptop to. I'm just telling people to be smart about what they are doing with their stuff as it's a risk mailing your stuff to someone you've never met.

Hey there, have you seen some of the guides online to get the basics of repasting? Although they are different laptops, it's a good guideline. Let me know if you need help. I've been out of the office, but am now back..

Risks are way too high for the benefits. Why not just repad and repaste? I got my temps to 70C CPU and 63C GPU during gaming with new grizzly thermal pads and / arcic silver mx4 repaste.
