Has anyone had luck with this, particularly in terms of getting Killer WiFi and other drivers, as well as things such as sleep/resume to work. If so, do you mind sharing some details? Distro, non-standard setup needed, outstanding issues...
    Many tx in advance

I still have minor issues with Killer Wifi range and connectivity. Sleep/resume will sometimes cause black screens ( I rarely observed this). First things first, disable secure boot only on linux using sudo mokutils --disable-validation
Then after disabling secure boot for linux only, proceed to installing nvidia proprietary drivers and creative audio patches ( for headphone jack detection and proper sound).

Thanks for the tips. What distro(s) have you used/worked best?

Currently I'm using Xubuntu 16 with out of box support for killer wifi. You may have to download some firmware for Kabylake so that intel gpu works correctly. Killer Wifi still isn't good as Windows because of firmware limitation.
You can Ubuntu, Mint and Arch as well. Use x64 versions.
