Hi, I've just noticed that the left speaker on my alienware 15 rattles at around 80% volume (with the SBX Pro Studio on it rattles at around 50%) on bassy music, should I call Dell for warranty or is it common on this laptop?, I know I know, grow a pair and get some decent speakers but is just that my old HP Envy 17 had such a great speaker system that I miss that.

There's no limitation on these hardware issues for the warranty. I guess you could take advantage of that and solve it once and for all. I haven't had any reports of this as an expected behavior, therefore it could easily be a hardware problem.

Thanks, any idea of how many days it would take to get my A15 back?, I mean, I guess all they have to do is replace the left speaker and put in a new one, don¿t they?

They could send a technician to your house and fix it on the spot.

Indeed!, started a chat session yesterday on dell's website and today I've got my AW15 repaired in my house, superb technical support (unlike my previous system ***cough cough HP***), now I just hope this is the last time I have to call the support team :)
