"Display Driver Intel HD 530 for Windows 8(R) has stopped responding and has successfully Recovered"
"Display Driver Nvidia version 353.54 has stopped responding and has successfully Recovered"

I'm tired of receiving this crash every now and then. Worse, installing any driver from Nvidia almost always results in BSOD, one or the other. So, I'm sticking around with those from Dell.

    Specs for Alienware 17 R3:
    Windows 10
    i7 6700, 16 GB RAM

    Currently running:
    Intel HD 530 driver version - 10.18.15.4281
Nvidia GTX 970M driver version - 353.54 (10.18.13.5354 according to Device manager)

Updated to the ones in Dell Website, this crash doesn't go away!!

So, according to you guys, which specific driver version(from Dell or Nvidia and Intel) gives the least problems?

    Thanks

uninstall both the intel and nvidia drivers with DDU. Download the Intel driver from the Dell website and the latest Nvidia drivers from the Nvidia website.

Disable automatic driver updates in the system control panel. This causes a lot of problems for a lot of users.

Did u by any chance switch Nvidia and Intel in the answer?

Because I have had terrible experience with Nvidia drivers from Nvidia website

Never tried updating Intel drivers though

Nope I didnt. I never had any Nviia driver issues on both the Alienware 15 R1 and R2 by the way.

The intel drivers however where always **** since Windows 10. But the latest from Dell seem to work okay as long if I keep automatic driver updating off. Or else windows automatic update is starting to mess with it. Even messed that much that my start menu refused to load. Had to fix that by deleting the start menu database and replace it with one from another account which I had to create with powershell.
