    Hi!

I have an AW17r2 which has several major issues and I have arranged a phone call with some DELL guy for tomorrow. I am going to demand an upgrade to the late 2015 models but first, I wanted to hear out your opinion on some points:

    • Does it feel uncomfortable, even for a bit, if you play at 1080p rather than 4k on a 4k screen? Do you suggest 4k?
    • What SSD's does the laptop come with? Do you suggest it?
    • Do these laptops have video input as the ranger models did?
    • Do you have any other points to share?
I am aware that it is early to discuss the components of a hypothetical replacement laptop but I want to be solid on the phone about my demands.

1080p on the 17r3 is a really nice screen. I can recommend it. The ssd drives are samsung pm951 drives. Good read speeds but lower write speeds. Still pretty okay drives. There is no video input.

The only problem to mind is using a bios after 1.2.9. 1.2.12 and higher have some bugs. But you can flash back yourself.
