So I took my new Alienware 17 with killer Wireless 1535 traveling for the first time and I decided to use the Wireless Display feature. The hotel limited the wireless network to 5mbps and was using 5ghz. When I had Wireless Display connected I noticed that my network connection dropped to about 2-2.5mbps. Is this normal for Wireless Display to slow down the network connection like that?

How did you use widi with the 1535? I thought it was an Intel only thing.

WiDi works on Miracast so maybe that's why? Anyway it works just not practical when used with WiFi for internet apparently.
