After reading numerous posts about folks who had problems with their Killer Wifi - I dont' recall what the solution was? This is my third (This Gen) AW's - 15R3, 17R4 and actually never had any issues with wifi. Just got my new 17R4 yesterday and right off the bat the Killer Wifi drops constantly. Is there another driver that we can use instead of the Killer to solve the problem?

Quite a few people have resolved their problems by using the bare driver without the network suite after fully uninstalling the pre loaded driver

Honestly I remove all drivers and use the stock Windows driver. Works fine for me. But then again I swapped mine out with an Intel 8260.

I'm finding that the latest full driver suite from the Killer website seems to have fixed the issue for me.

Hi, this is want I've been using and having no problems. http://www.killernetworking.com/driver-downloads/category/other-downloads
Also I have read somewhere that the new network driver suite is better and is now called Killer Control Center http://www.killernetworking.com/driver-downloads But I haven't tried it since I'm not having any problems with the driver only. Hope this helps.

Yes the new suite called Killer Control Center is doing just fine on my Aorus X7. Took it a while to get up to speed though. And it still gives me crap on my 5Ghz network. @terrain how's it going for you?

@terrain: try killer sniper driver aka killer control Center which is great. http://www.killernetworking.com/driver-downloads
Complete uninstall older drivers using Revo or similar to get best results.
Also, if you're into tweaking, Set Roaming aggressiveness to Lowest. Go to device manager > Network adapters -> Killer 153 > Properties > Advanced > Roaming aggressiveness

Hi, I must say that the tweak doesn't always work as I have tried it and it made my connection worst. My ping was spiking and when I reverted it back to default and it was better. Hope this helps.

Isnt the windows default for all wireless cards set to Medium? Or do different cards have different presets? Both my current AC1535 and old AC7260 were set to Medium out of the factory. I could be mistaken though

My wifi drop when i close the lid, for example when i connect external monitor. So i go with Ethernet for a while. The issue disappear when i upgrade Win 8.1 to Win 10 and also when i've downloaded the lan drivers from official Dell website.
