I am having an issue with my Killer 1535 When attempting to use WiFi and Miracast at the same time. I have noticed that hen using Miracast and taxing my WiFi connection (250mbps downloading) that after a while the WiFi connection will drop and the network i was on will no longer show up until I disconnect from Miracast. I have verified that the WiFi connection itself is still ok using my phone so the problem is with the Killer 1535.

Have you tried latest driver? http://www.killernetworking.com/driver-downloads
Use revo to uninstall the current drivers with moderate or advanced scanning to remove everything and after a reboot, install the new driver.

I'll second Vasudev's suggestion of using the latest drivers, and also make sure that your OS is fully up to date by searching Windows Update, then clicking Check for Updates. Let it install whatever it finds, then restart your machine, and repeat the process, as Windows Update often finds more updates after being restarted.

The situation you are describing is actually pretty strange considering Miracast doesn't go through your router - it sets up an Ad-Hoc network between your computer and the display. So, for some reason, Windows is excluding that AP because of something happening with Miracast.

Unfortunately, if updating the drivers doesn't resolve the issue, you're probably looking at a Windows issue, as everything beyond the initial handshake is handled by the operating system.

So i am running the latest killer drivers + I have no pending Windows Updates. Also like i stated in original post this problem only pops up when i max out my wireless connection and attempt to use Miracast at the same time. If wireless is idle then it works fine.

I attempted a clean install as recommend and also tried out the Beta drivers. I still dropped WiFi when using miracast (WiFi was stable until i turned miracast on then went down after i used it for awhile. Only disconnecting from miracast restored my ability to connect to WiFi)

Is the router running on latest firmware?
Did you try using 5GHz band and seeing any improvement. Are you projecting just the content of mobile device onto PC screen or doing something else?

Vasudev might be on to something. You might also try changing the Wi-Fi channel on your router. Is your Wi-Fi radio space otherwise crowded? As in, do you see a lot of other access points when you connect to yours, or using the Killer Control Center's Wi-Fi analyzer? If the signal strength is already low, you could be causing your own interference by moving a lot of data, and using Miracast at the same time. It looks like Miracast tries to use 2.4 GHz, but will also use 5 GHz, so you might have to tinker with the channel settings a bit. If there are a lot of other wireless access points nearby, also make sure your Wi-Fi router is set to a sideband or side-channel of 20 MHz, otherwise it will waste power trying to trample the outer edges of the channel. And make sure the 2.4 GHz is set to 1,6, or 11.

I am only using 5ghz and i actually have the Linksys WRT32x (the Killer Networking One). I have that setup to use channel 100 thanks to DFS and i am the only person on that channel.

Try disabling Killer Prioritising Engine on your router for your killer card and see if it helps fixing the issue.

Ah, a DFS channel. I have seen them shut off in strange circumstances. Try changing to a non-DFS channel and see if that helps the situation.

So I bought and installed a Killer 1550 and my Miracast issues are gone. The 160mhz feature is screwed up but that is a separate issue.
