This is slightly irrelevant but, i have seen various complaints about the r3 keyboard from build quality to responsivness.

Isn't it supposed to be the same as the r2 (which i've heard is decent)?

According to a Dell rep I remember answering the question, this is by design (has been for previous revisions/generations). So while nothing is wrong with the keyboard, it may not be a favorable feature.

Thanks, but any idea why? I mean other brands support a lot more keys.

Not really sure. A cost-cutting measure?
