Goodluck with finding a glossy screen. Recently only touchscreens are glossy and there are not a lot of 1080P touchscreen options out there.

No MSI's with the 980m and a touchscreen, No Gigabytes, No Clevo's, Only a Razer Blade 14 with a 970M and a UHD 4K touchscreen panel and an Asus with a 960 and a UHD touchscreen panel.

it doesnt. only the microsoft 4K edition. You can pretty much forget it in combination with the other specs. There are no fhd touchscreen 980M laptop available at all anywhere from any brand.

    Yikes...nada....

If anything the closest thing would be the Microsoft Special Edition that has the gloss touch screen, but it only comes with the 970m I think....

Just the touch screen part alone rules out top end gpus. Don't know any laptops with a touchscreen with a 970m even. Once you're down to 960m then maybe, but if you want the fastest mobile chip, that's going to require some fine combing through your choices.

You right. I think I'll just settle for a laptop without touchscreen.

What lower budget laptops with Nvidia 970M or 980M do you recommend? Mind you, I cant go past $1200.

Check out xoticpc, they have all sorts of models and brands. Can sort by 970 and then go by price and go from there. They're legit, I've purchased from them before.

    Cool. Appreciate it.

Got another question. Will a laptop with 8GB ram be enough to play games at medium settings coming out 1 or 2 years from now? I ask because someone said 8GB ram is enough to play today's games and future games 1 - 2 years from now, but no later.

Honestly 8gb for the average gamer is enough. But I would recommend spending a little extra and be at 16. Unless you're on a tight budget then yea 8 is fine.

So 8GB is enough for games that will come out 1 - 2 years from now? Considering with an Nvidia 960M?

The 960 will not be enough. But your budget is fairly low to begin with.

The 960 is barely enough now to play games on FHD with medium settings.

Yes I know the limitations of the 960M. But I'm on a budget sadly. But you didnt answer my previous question. Is 8GB enough to play games this year and next, albeit, at medium settings?

8GB will be enough but the GPU really wont.

I hate fingerprints on my screens, touchscreen just adds to my OCD.
