Should we be concerned? In the comments that follow the article nobody seems too worried but what should we be looking out for?
I'm posting this because I believe we are all affected.

As one of the commenters said after the article, it is possible for MS to solve this with a microcode update via Windows Update. They already did it 2 years ago.
Someone mentioned that it is only gaming that is likely to make this flaw appear however, someone else said quite the contrary. My R4 is only 3 weeks old and has already given 1 BSOD, and crashed in 2 games. I have to admit I wasn't expecting that from a supposedly stable O/S so clearly I'm looking for possible causes.
If we were to disable hyperthreading would it make a major difference in game play? -
There is another active thread on the Skylake / Kabylake CPU HT bug and fixes:

For those with 15 r2 or 17 r3, our best way would be to install that microcode via Ubuntu's repositories( in ubuntu 17 repos). I'm waiting for some days if Dell issues patches for older devices.

It's really unclear how much of a problem this is and how much Windows will affected.
